Olivewear featured among the finalists of Asian Entrepreneurship Award 2017 (Japan)
The steering committee of Asian Entrepreneurship Award (2017), a prestigious global startup funding event, co-hosted by Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., Division of University Corporate Relations — The University of Tokyo, TX Entrepreneur Partners General Incorporated Association (TEP), and The Japan Academic Society for Ventures and Entrepreneurs (JASVE), has shortlisted Olivewear as one of its finalists, who would compete with its Asian Top Tech Startups.
We are proud to say that Olivewear is one of the two Indian startups that have been shortlisted for the event and has merited the invitation to attend the ‘Innovation Leaders Submit (ILS)’ in Japan. The event is to be organized between 23 to 25 October 2017 in Tokyo.
Olivewear is engaged with ‘Project SaveMom’, taking med-tech innovation to rural India currently focusing on reducing preventable maternal and infant morbidity during the First 1000 days. We are a Nasscom CoE IoT startup. The company is now implementing its solution in partnership with NGOs namely Amrita Serve and VEMBU in the remote regions of Kerala and Tamilnadu. While we feel privileged that our innovation and efforts have been globally acknowledged, through events like AEA 2017, we believe that nothing equals a genuine appreciation of the value from our end customer.
As a team, we envision a day, when the access to quality care in the first 1000 days, would bring down the maternal and infant morbidity rates to level zero. Olivewear’s true success is to actualize this dream.
